About Us
Evergreen Financial Counseling is a nonprofit organization based in Portland, Oregon.
Evergreen Financial Counseling offers your choice of internet or telephone Credit Counseling and Personal Financial Management courses required under current Bankruptcy Code. We are approved by the U.S. Trustees Office in all jurisdictions except for North Carolina and Alabama.*
Evergreen Financial Counseling is not affiliated with any bank, credit card company, collection agency, or credit counseling agency. Evergreen provides its services without regard to a client's ability to pay. Individuals who cannot afford the counseling fee may request a waiver through a written request sent via email to info@evergreenclass.com or mail to our corporate address.
Request for Waiver
Requests for waivers must include the following information:
1. Reason for request of waiver of course fees.
2. Copies of recent pay stubs and/or most recent tax documentation.
2. Requestor's Name, Address, telephone number, email, and (if applicable) Bankruptcy Case Number, Judicial District, and Attorney.
Upon Receipt of the aforementioned information, the requestor will receive information via E-mail, mail, or telephone with instructions regarding logging in to use the service.
